Accelerated write rate through modified workload ‣ The workload in the endurance stress is modified so that more p/e cycles can be performed on the nonvolatile memory in a given amount of time. ‣ Example of acceptable modified workloads are: – 1. A workload with a different ratio of sequential to random writes, or different transfer sizes. – 2. A workload which includes proprietary instructions to the <strong>SSD</strong> to perform internal data transfers, which result in writes that bypass the host. – 3. Reduced number of reads.
