The Prompt February 2013
EDITORIAL CONTENTS
“
Dear Colleagues,
I know it’s well into February, but Happy New Year. We
have a more slim-line edition of The Prompt for you this
New Year. I wonder on the reasons for this. It may be
that the festive season, with its slow-down of professional
events, means that there is less on which to
write. Or perhaps people missed the usual ‘prompt’ via
e-mail, as for the first time it was embedded in our, still
relatively new, E-Bulletin. However, I suspect you are all
still reading through our recent special Festschrift
edition of The Prompt, so perhaps there is enough
reading material for now. However, don’t let that get in
the way of missing out on the gems for this month.
There is an additional piece from the Sue Jennings’
Festschrift day that is included in this edition, plus
several contributions that are responses to a letter in
the last issue. I am delighted that there is some debate
going on through these pages. One of the letters and
some of the news items highlight the need for more
offers of support within different areas of BADth, so
perhaps this might give some of you ideas about how to
bring your creative energy further into the profession.
We also have a fascinating article on Dramatherapy and
Drama for Health.
Many thanks, as always, to those who have submitted
these offerings, and looking forward to a continued
flow of ideas, thoughts and creativity, through these
pages.
”
With best wishes
