Terms: 100% cash, cashiers check, business or personal check or Visa/MasterCard/Discover. A 

$25 fee will be added to all returned checks, and 3% will be added to credit cards. 

Bids and Disputes: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If 

no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last 

bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final. 

Announcements: Every effort was made to assure the correctness of this catalog, however, 

all announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the 

catalog. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements. 

Certificates of Registry: Certificates of registry or applications for registry will be furnished to the 

buyer for each animal after settlement has been made. 

Shipping: Assistance will be given in making shipping arrangements after the sale, but the sale 

management and/or the seller assume no risk. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the 

buyer. Buyers are requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement. All animals 

must be loaded day of sale unless prior arrangements have been made. 

Accidents: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of the 

buyers, neither the sales management, the auctioneer, nor the sellers assume any responsibility 

in the matter and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in case of accidents or loss of property. 

Rights and Obligations: The above terms of sale will constitute a contract between the buyer and 

the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in the sale will 

constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected 

thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale. 

Health Papers: Consignors will provide health papers. 

Breeders Guarantee: Should any animal over 7 months of age fail to prove a breeder within 120 

days of purchase date, the matter should be reported in writing to Tri-State Boers. The seller 

will have 90 days to prove the animal is a breeder. Should the animal prove to be breeder, it will 

be turned back over to the owner. Should the animal prove not to be a breeder, consignor will 

replace the animal with one of equal or more value or refund the buyer. All transportation will be 

the responsibility of the buyer! 

Loading of Animals: We will be unable to load any animals until the sale is completed. Your 

understanding and cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

I called Holly McShane before her production sale in 2008 and told her I wanted to buy the best red buck she had. 

She told me she had two bucks kids, full brothers, that were great. She had a tough time deciding which one to 

keep and take to Nationals. This is the one she sold. She told me before and after we bought this buck that this 

may have been the best of the two. The buck she kept won his class at Nationals that year. She sold him for over 

$5,000 in her dispersal sale. This buck is everything, if not more than what his brother is. This buck should have 

been shown across the country but due to illness in our family we have been unable to show as we normally do. 

Hard R is a very long, has a beautiful head, and is well muscled. We have been using him for a stud buck so he 

doesn’t have his show clothes on right now, but he gains weight easily.
