Karaoke at Temple Sinai of Hollywood
Saturday Night, March 7th 2009 at 7:30pm
KARAOKE (a mixture of Japanese kara, "empty," and okesutora, "orchestra") pronounced ka-ra-oakie/; is a form of entertainment
in which amateur singers sing along with recorded music (and/or a music video) using a microphone and public address system.
The music is typically a well-known pop song which has no lead vocal. Lyrics are usually displayed on a video screen, along with a
moving symbol or changing color and/or music video images, to guide the singer. In some countries, a karaoke music video with
lyrics and the option to disable the original voice track is called a KTV. Some people incorrectly spell it "kareoke". (source
Wikipedia).
So, the questions are:
1. Was the above definition important to you?
2. If it was or it wasn’t, would you like to try karaoke?
3. If you have already tried karaoke, would you like to try it again?
4. Would you like to hear your friends and family give karaoke a try?
If any of the answers to the above questions were “YES”, then you need to join us for the first ever
Temple Sinai Karaoke Night on Saturday March 7th 2009 at 7:30pm.
