<strong>KSDK</strong> (Channel 5) picked up <strong>13</strong> honors Saturday, including five by anchor Mike Bush,<br />
as the Mid-America Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences<br />
recognized electronic journalists from St. Louis, Kansas City and other Midwest outlets<br />
at its annual Emmy awards banquet.<br />
The education, arts and culture cable station serving St. Louis, HEC-TV, was cited for<br />
station excellence at the ceremony Saturday night in downtown St. Louis.<br />
The academy also inducted six people into the Silver Circle, recognizing service of 25<br />
years or more in the television industry.<br />
Martin Duggan, the former host of "Donnybrook" on KETC (Channel 9), and Suzi<br />
Schrappen, a vice president with KPLR (Channel 11), were the local honorees.<br />
