About the Toy Industry Foundation About the Toy Industry Foundation
The Toy Industry Foundation’s mission is to bring joy, comfort, and learning to
children in need through the experience of toys and play. While other organizations
provide food, shelter and support services to children and their families, we
put toys in the hands of those who need them most – children living in poverty,
suffering from chronic illness, rescued from crisis situations, or living with the
stress of having a parent in the military – providing the chance to just be kids.
We hope you’ll make a play date with TIF during Toy Fair week to learn more about
our industry’s own foundation and how you can help make play possible for all.

Toy Bank Collection
Exhibitors are
encouraged to donate
show samples at the
close of Toy Fair. With an
army of volunteers and
our Toy Bank partner
Kids in Distressed
Situations (K.I.D.S.), TIF
will scour the showroom
floor collecting toys
once more for both
local and national
charity recipients.
To mark the Toy Bank’s $50 million milestone,
Haven Academy students decorated donor
awards for the initiative’s strongest supporters.
Toy Bank volunteers worked to collect Toy Fair
samples for disaster victims in Haiti.
Since its inception, the Toy Industry Foundation’s signature program,
the Toy Bank, has distributed over 7.5 million new toys, valued at over
$55 million, to deserving kids around the world. In 2010, the TIF was
proud to name Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) as our new Toy
Bank partner.
Learning Express Convention sent $60,000 worth
of toys to Nashville flood victims.
