The Society of Exploration Geophysicists of Japan (SEGJ) was
established with the objectives of the advancement, development and
promotion of the study and techniques of geophysical, physical and
chemical means of underground surveying as well as mutual communion
and communication of members. SEGJ was established in 1948.
The SEGJ publishes a bi-monthy periodical entitled BUTSURI TANSA
(Geophysical Exploration). Papers presented in this journal are mostly
written in Japanese with English abstract. A few papers are in English.
