The Police Association has recently teamed up with
Simply Energy, enabling Association members to save a
substantial 18 per cent on electricity usage rates and a
further 14 per cent on gas usage rates*.
Members who switch to Simply
Energy for their electricity
usage will also receive $100
credit on their first Simply
Energy electricity bill (in
addition to the discount). This can mean
an additional 5 per cent discount to your
electricity bill if your household power bill is
currently around $2,000 per year.
These discounts have been negotiated
as part of a Police Association push
to try and ease cost of living pressures
on members.

Certain conditions do apply to the offer,
including a requirement that bills be paid on
time as well as a commitment to a two-year
fixed-term contract. However, The Police
Association has made a point of ensuring
that the offer comes with a minimum of
associated conditions. for example, there
are no requirements for paperless billing or
direct debit payments, as is sometimes the
case with similar energy deals.
while this deal will offer substantial savings
for many members, it may not be the best
available in all cases. Variables such as
usage patterns and where you live can
impact upon your energy bill.
Association members are therefore advised
to look closely at the discounts on offer from
Simply Energy. Interested members should
