would like to get the views of the students with regard to
the service and food provided. Could you please ask your
children to logon to Moodle, follow the Pastoral Link and
select Canteen survey and fill in the short survey. This link
will be open over the Christmas holiday.
School Uniform
We are connuing to experience difficules in ensuring that some of our stu‐
dents conform with our school uniform policy, and I would be grateful if you
could ensure that in January, your child is appropriately dressed.
Details and guidelines of our school uniform are in the planner. Please note
the following:
Trousers must be tailored, no jeans or jean style trousers
Only one pair of small stud earrings is allowed
Hair must be a natural colour
 Facial piercings are not allowed
Skirts should be of reasonable length (10cm
above knee)
 Sensible black boots are allowed
Students who do not wear appropriate uniform will
be sent home to change and sancons given for those who consistently fail
to comply with school policy.
Thes of Bicycles
There has been a recent trend in the of pedal cycles in the local ar‐
ea. Please ensure that if you cycle and leave your bicycle unaended
(including at school) that it is secured with an efficient lock. If your
bike or other property is stolen please report it to the Police as soon
as possible to assist Police in recovering the item. Every Police force
in the UK will instantly check any property found by serial number to
see if it has been registered and reunite it with the righul owner.
You can create a free account to record the serial numbers of your
property (and the frame number of your bicycle) at www.immobilise.com
Once registered if your phone, bike, computer or any other registered item is lost or stolen, use Immo‐
bilise to instantly tell police, insurers, and the second‐hand trade. These acons help greatly in the re‐
covery of your property and capture of thieves. Have a safe and enjoyable fesve holiday.
