Renault Immobiliser unlock. Decoder/UCH information
Megane & Megane Scenic We need to know what colour the fuse box is.
It is located under a cover to right of steering wheel and will be Black or Blue
If it is Blue like this one (left) then we need the engine ECU from under the
bonnet We will extract the necessary code and return with a small, ready
programmed, Bypass unit which needs to fitted to the plugs on top of this fuse
box. Instructions are provided.

If it is Black then we can work from a number inside
your key.
The number is either on a white label or engraved
into the black plastic key head. The number begins
with letter ‘S’
We will supply a Bypass unit ready programmed
which is fitted to the plugs on top of this unit.

We can either supply a ready
programmed Bypass unit or Pin
Entry Pod if there is a code number
inside the ignition key. The number
is either on a label on fob circuit
board or sprayed inside the black
plastic key head (see left) in UV
sensitive ink. The PEP sits on the vehicle diagnostic socket and can
be left in place permanently. The Bypass is fitted to the plugs going
to the UCH in passenger footwell. Instructions are supplied.
You could also remove the UCH and send it to us. We will mount the bypass internally and return it

Renault Clio ( early)
The early Clio Decoder unit is located
behind dash..about opposite where drivers
right knee would be. It just pulls off.
If this unit (see left) is not there then look
for this one (single plug decoder) located
further over towards the door and higher

Renault Kangoo/Master/Movano/Vivar
Decoder Unit
All these vans use the same decoder
unit (Vehicles up to about 02)
These vehicles can be disarmed
using the Pin Entry Pod or send this
nit to us and we will mount the
Bypass internally
On the Kangoo it is located behind the Speedo. Remove the screws from
speedo assembly and pull the
instrument pack forward. The
Decoder unit can be seen in bottom left hand corner.
On the Master etc it is usually located under dash behind steering column

If yours is the later Espace IV then we need this unit from passenger side. On
the Espace IV the immobiliser warning
light can’t be extinguished
