fine arts exhibit<br />
Our year-round Fine Arts programs<br />
encourage artistic expression through<br />
drawing, painting, print making,<br />
collage, mixed media and sculpture.<br />
Selected pieces are displayed at<br />
a public art venue before being<br />
submitted <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> regional and<br />
national competitions. In <strong>2010</strong>, <strong>Boys</strong><br />
& <strong>Girls</strong> <strong>Clubs</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Metro</strong> <strong>Denver</strong> had<br />
three national winners.<br />
imagemakers program<br />
This pho<strong>to</strong>graphy program allows Club<br />
members <strong>the</strong> opportunity <strong>to</strong> learn and<br />
practice black and white, color, digital<br />
and alternative process pho<strong>to</strong>graphy.<br />
The program culminates with an annual<br />
ImageMakers Pho<strong>to</strong>graphy Contest,<br />
which provides local, regional and<br />
national recognition for Club members.<br />
international day<br />
This special event celebrates<br />
multicultural experiences and provides<br />
a creative outlet for Club members<br />
<strong>to</strong> research different countries and<br />
traditions. During <strong>the</strong> event, members<br />
enjoy a multi-ethnic luncheon and<br />
enriching performances and workshops<br />
led by pr<strong>of</strong>essional artists.
