sirs-100 its is a 24 gHz pulse doppler radar
designed for use in several its-applications.
the sirs-100 its radar continuously detect
and track humans, moving and stationary
vehicles and other objects up to 100 meters.
its output data in terms of distance, velocity
and direction of movements is used for
monitoring and control purposes in traffic
systems of various kinds. thanks to the
sensor’s ability to handle a large number of
objects simultaneously, with a high degree
of autonomy, it is the perfect match in many
traffic management system
one of the most competent radars in its
range class! its multi-lane capacity brings
the capability to simultaneously track
numerous vehicles or object, calculate their
size and speed as well as pinpointing their
position enabling the capability to track their
movements within the detection area. sirs-
100 its operates autonomously and can make
decisions and raise alerts automatically. the
sensor information can be used for activating
traffic violation cameras and managing trafficflow
measurements as well as dynamic speed
signs. as it is able to detect moving or static
humans, it is ideal for detection of pedestrians
at crossings or bus stops. the sirs-100 its is
further highly suitable for traffic light control,
red light violation enforcement as well as for
traffic data statistics collection in a variety of
safety applications.

the sirs-100 its sensor can easily be installed
and integrated with a higher-level system
for traffic flow measurement and automatic
incident detection. the area covered by the
sensor can then be presented on a screen,
where the features of the surveyed area are
shown distinctly. the location and speed of
objects are shown immediately in relation
to the background, which may be coupled
to a map for instant coordinate positioning.
movements in the observed area are easy to
follow, and all objects defined as “divergent”
are specifically indicated.
