Although the MA-600 is a stand alone machine, it has the
capability to communicate with a PC via a built-in USB
interface. The PC interface can be utilized for creating and
editing programs, loading and saving existing programs, and
updating software versions.

Flat Keyboard
The MA-600 is the newest addition to the
legendary range of Toshiba TEC Electronic Cash
Registers, renowned for quality, reliability and
low cost of ownership. With an ergonomic
design, cool black color, and available in either
raised or flat keyboard versions, the MA-600 is
flexible enough for the widest variety of retail or
food service environments.
Displays
The MA-600 boasts three displays; two LED displays (multi-color
operator LED), and an interactive operator LCD display. The 192 x
64 dot, backlit LCD is designed for clarity and ease of programming
and operations. Interactive help screens assist in guiding the user
through set-up operations.
Thermal Printing
High speed thermal printing is achieved via the two station receipt
and journal clamshell printers. With easy to use, ‘drop and load’
functionality, these printers minimize down time while improving
customer throughput. In addition, thermal printing ensures a
quieter operation, more flexible receipt options (logos, text and
size), enhanced reliability and lower total cost of ownership - no
requirement for costly ribbons.
