Liebe Kunden, Geschäftspartner und Freunde,
die Markteinführung der ersten TALMU Fußgängerreflektoren am 28. November
1980 markierte den Beginn der Reise durch unsere erfolgreiche Firmengeschichte.
Geschichte heißt Geschehen: viele Ideen wurden entwickelt und umgesetzt, Patente,
Gebrauchs- und Geschmacksmuster wurden eingereicht, genehmigt und verteidigt.
Auch mehr als 30 Jahre später tritt kein Stillstand ein. Seit Juni 2007 gehört mbw zur
JCK Holding GmbH Textil KG, einer Kooperation, die sechs Werbeartikelspezialisten
unter einem soliden Dach vereint.
Diese Allianz sorgt für eine starke Positionierung am internationalen Markt und ermöglicht
insbesondere die Optimierung der Beschaffung. Das „Gemeinsam Stark Sein“
wird dafür sorgen, dass Verlässlichkeit, Beständigkeit und eine geprüfte Qualität auch
in Zukunft zu unseren treuen Begleitern gehören werden. Unsere Produkte genügen
seit je her den aktuellen gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Die Prüfberichte renommierter
Testinstitute, die für viele unserer Artikel vorliegen, sorgen für Transparenz. Allerdings
heißt Qualität auch in Bewegung zu bleiben und den Überblick über die Normen
und Richtlinien zur Inverkehrbringung von Produkten zu behalten. Seit Juli hat mbw
daher ein hausinternes Qualitätsmanagement installiert. Diese Abteilung kümmert
sich ausschließlich um die Überwachung der Produkte, die Einhaltung von Richtlinien
und Normen und die Prozessoptimierung im Betrieb. Der Leiter der Abteilung, Lutz
Franke, arbeitet seit fast 20 Jahren ausschließlich im Qualitätsmanagement. Speziell für
unsere Belange, hat Herr Franke eine Ausbildung zur Fachkraft für Spielzeugsicherheit
absolviert. Bewegung im wörtlichen Sinne äußert sich bei mbw darin, dass wir selbst
mehrmals im Jahr in Fernost unterwegs sind, um die Hersteller unserer Produkte zu
besuchen und uns ein Bild von Werkstoffen und Fertigungsverfahren zu machen.
Sowohl mbw- als auch Holdingmitarbeiter in Fernost leisten hierzu ihren Beitrag.
Wir danken unseren Kunden und Lieferanten für das nachhaltige Vertrauen. Wir freuen

The launch of the first TALMU pedestrian reflectors on the 28th November 1980
marked the beginning of our company‘s success story. This story has had many
chapters: lots of ideas were developed and implemented, utility and design patents
were submitted, granted and defended. More than thirty years later there is still no
stopping us. Since June 2007 mbw has belonged to JCK Holding GmbH Textil KG,
a collaboration where six promotional item specialists work together under the same
roof. This alliance provides us with a strong position in the international market,
whilst creating an optimal environment for procurement. This “Strength in Numbers”
ensures that, in the future, reliability, consistency and assured quality will continue to
be at the heart of what we do.
Our products have consistently met all necessary legal requirements. Audit reports on
our products compiled by renowned test institutes ensure transparency. It is important
to maintain quality levels whilst moving forwards, and to keep track of standards and
guidelines for placing products on the market. For this reason, mbw has had its own
in-house department for Quality Management since July of this year. The department
is exclusively responsible for the monitoring of products, compliance with policies and
rules, and process optimization within the company. The head of the department,
Lutz Franke, has worked exclusively in quality management for almost twenty years,
and has undertaken a specialist course in toy safety specifically for our purposes.
The value placed on motion by mbw is demonstrated more literally by the several trips
made each year by the company to the Far East, in order to visit the manufacturers
of our products, and to give us a clearer picture of the materials and manufacturing
processes. Both mbw and holding company employees in the Far East make an
important contribution to this process.
We would like to thank our clients and suppliers for their continued trust in us. We
