1.6 Liners and Locking Devices<br />
The system is characterized by an air deflation jet which is inserted into an M 36<br />
thread of a pyramid connector. This jet allows air deflation within the socket. The<br />
system does not only include the Vacuum-Jet, but also the new SoftSkin liner w/o<br />
distal attachment (SoftSkin S40 CL or SoftSkin S50 CL) as well as a proximal airtight<br />
knee sleeve. The system works perfectly for both, test- and definitive sockets.<br />
The fabrication set contains two different dummies for that purpose. Furthermore,<br />
there is an opportunity to easily retrofit an existing M36 socket connector to the<br />
new Vacuum-Jet system.<br />
