General information & application<br />
The <strong>Helpman</strong> <strong>ODIN</strong>-C series is a new concept of air <strong>cooled</strong><br />
<strong>condenser</strong>s for small to medium sized refrigeration and air<br />
conditioning installations. The <strong>Helpman</strong> <strong>ODIN</strong> range has been<br />
developed to fully meet the demands of both installers and<br />
end users. <strong>Helpman</strong> <strong>ODIN</strong>-C <strong>condenser</strong>s are available for<br />
both horizontal and vertical air direction.<br />
The <strong>ODIN</strong> range is characterised by an excellent energy yield<br />
& sound characteristics.<br />
Refrigerants all H(C)FC<br />
Capacities (SC2) 10 up to 102 kW<br />
Coil<br />
‘Floating’ coil construction manufactured from Cu ripple fin ®<br />
tubes ø 1 ⁄2” and corrugated Alu-fins, tube pitch 50 x 50 mm<br />
triangle.<br />
Casing<br />
Patented, extremely rigid casing construction. Casing and<br />
framework of corrosion resistant material, epoxy coated white<br />
RAL 9003. All models are provided with easily removable<br />
header panels. Mounting feet may be moved along the length<br />
to any position required. Fan plates easily removable for<br />
inspection & cleaning of the coil surface.<br />
Fan motors<br />
Draw through fans ø 560 mm, plastic fan blades an corrosion<br />
resistant fan guards.<br />
Fan motors available in a range of different fan speeds (450,<br />
650, 750, 1000, 1200 and 1500 rpm). Enclosed design<br />
spray-tight fan motors, protection class IP-55. All fan motors<br />
suitable for frequency fan speed control, 230V motors also for<br />
triac fan speed control.<br />
All fan motors are equipped with a thermal safety device in<br />
the windings, connected to separate terminals in the box.<br />
Motors are wired to one or more common terminal boxes.<br />
<strong>ODIN</strong>-C<br />
Certifications<br />
All <strong>condenser</strong> models are “Eurovent Certify All” certified. The<br />
<strong>Alfa</strong> <strong>Laval</strong> quality system is in accordance with ISO 9001. All<br />
products are manufactured according to CE and PED rules.<br />
Test<br />
Design pressure 33 bar. Each heat exchanger is leak tested<br />
with dry air and finally supplied with a nitrogen pre-charge.<br />

Condenser selection and RCPL pricing may be performed<br />

software.
