How to Make a Shot-Glass Style E-Collar - Suz' Sugar Gliders

Step 1: Trace template onto clear plastic
notebook cover, then cut out.
Step 4: Cut ¾” off end of dual layer
Molefoam. Remove adhesive backing
and adhere to clear plastic as shown.
Step 7: Turn collar over, Molefoam
side down. Remove backing from
Moleskin. Affix ¼” of uncut edge to
collar along inside edge.

Step 2: Using 1 sheet of Dr. Scholl’s
Molefoam, cut 2 strips ¼” along
edge.
Step 5: Using 1 sheet of Dr. Scholl’s
Moleskin, cut 1 strip 1-3/8” wide
down length.
Step 8: From the middle of Moleskin,
wrap around over Molefoam,
maintaining contours of collar. Trim
excess Moleskin from end, as shown.
Step 3: Remove 1 adhesive strip and
adhere one strip of molefoam to the
other, retaining 1 adhesive strip at
bottom for later use.
Step 6: Cut ½” deep slits at ½”
intervals down length of Moleskin
strip.
Step 9: Cut ½” strip from Moleskin.

Step 10: Remove adhesive backing
and adhere over slitted Moleskin,
above thick layer, to cover the splits
made from the contouring.
Step 13: Wrap overhang of Moleskin
around edge of collar, completely
covering edge.
Step 11: Cut 1 strip of Moleskin
1-3/4” long by 5/8” wide.
Step 14: Apply a 1.5” strip of duct
tape. Fold ¼” of duct tape over to
make a tab for easy removal.

Step 12: Remove backing and place
¼” along edge of collar where
Molefoam is thick, leaving an
overhang of Moleskin.
Step 15: Your e-collar is complete
and ready to be placed on your
sugar glider.
