Step 1: Trace template on<strong>to</strong> clear plastic<br />

notebook cover, then cut out.<br />

Step 4: Cut ¾” off end of dual layer<br />

Molefoam. Remove adhesive backing<br />

and adhere <strong>to</strong> clear plastic as shown.<br />

Step 7: Turn collar over, Molefoam<br />

side down. Remove backing from<br />

Moleskin. Affix ¼” of uncut edge <strong>to</strong><br />

collar along inside edge.<br />

Step 2: Using 1 sheet of Dr. Scholl’s<br />

Molefoam, cut 2 strips ¼” along<br />

edge.<br />

Step 5: Using 1 sheet of Dr. Scholl’s<br />

Moleskin, cut 1 strip 1-3/8” wide<br />

down length.<br />

Step 8: From the middle of Moleskin,<br />

wrap around over Molefoam,<br />

maintaining con<strong>to</strong>urs of collar. Trim<br />

excess Moleskin from end, as shown.<br />

Step 3: Remove 1 adhesive strip and<br />

adhere one strip of molefoam <strong>to</strong> the<br />

other, retaining 1 adhesive strip at<br />

bot<strong>to</strong>m for later use.<br />

Step 6: Cut ½” deep slits at ½”<br />

intervals down length of Moleskin<br />

strip.<br />

Step 9: Cut ½” strip from Moleskin.


Step 10: Remove adhesive backing<br />

and adhere over slitted Moleskin,<br />

above thick layer, <strong>to</strong> cover the splits<br />

made from the con<strong>to</strong>uring.<br />

Step 13: Wrap overhang of Moleskin<br />

around edge of collar, completely<br />

covering edge.<br />

Step 11: Cut 1 strip of Moleskin<br />

1-3/4” long by 5/8” wide.<br />

Step 14: Apply a 1.5” strip of duct<br />

tape. Fold ¼” of duct tape over <strong>to</strong><br />

make a tab for easy removal.<br />

Step 12: Remove backing and place<br />

¼” along edge of collar where<br />

Molefoam is thick, leaving an<br />

overhang of Moleskin.<br />

Step 15: Your e-collar is complete<br />

and ready <strong>to</strong> be placed on your<br />

sugar glider.
