Planning and delivering the Games is a major undertaking. The Olympic and
Paralympic Programme is being led by Normand Boivin, Heathrow’s Chief
Operating Officer. There are around 50 staff currently working full-time on the
programme, a number that is expected to increase significantly in the run up to
and during Games time, including 1,000 volunteers. We are also working closely
with every member of the airport community to coordinate plans and make
changes to the way they normally operate so that together we can ensure the
best possible experience for all passengers.
