Globe Valves Globe Valves GL-7 2-Way Valves: 1) Non Spring Return valves are shipped normally closed (stem down) at 0VDC. 2) Spring Return valves are shipped normally open (stem up) at 0VDC (fail open). 3-Way Mixing Valves: 1) Non Spring Return valves are shipped B to AB at 0VDC and will fail in last position. 2) Spring Return valves are shipped B to AB at 0VDC and will fail to B to AB. 3-Way Mixing Globe Valve Set-Up for Diverting 1) Non Spring Return valves are shipped B to AB at 0VDC. 2) Spring Return valves are shipped B to AB at 0VDC will fail B to AB. Any configuration of fail open, fail closed, reverse acting or direct acting can be set up upon special request. All diverting globe valves will ship in the above configuration unless otherwise specified. Note: 1/2" through 2" are labeled A, B, and AB. Fail with flow from B to AB. 2) Flow from B to AB at 10VDC with flow from A to AB at 0VDC. Fail with flow from B to AB. 3) Flow from A to AB at 0VDC with flow from B to AB at 10VDC. Fail with flow from A to AB. 4) Flow from A to AB at 10VDC with flow from B to AB at 0VDC. Fail with flow from A to AB. 3-Way Diverting: Stem down = Flow from AB (Common) to A.
