save fuel and reduce emissions
– optimise your power management system
Marine
$
As the diagram indicates, if an application features more than two
diesel generators, DEIF’s method is by far the most fuel-efficient.
temperature-dependent cool-down
Our power management systems measure the temperature of the
cooling water directly by means of a sensor. As a result, the time it
takes to cool down the engine depends only on the real temperature
of the engine and not on a fixed timer. This can save up to 40 running
hours per year for each diesel generator.
Our power management systems will automatically
activate the optimum combination of available diesel
generators – depending on the actual load situation on
the busbar. This feature is very useful for applications
using diesel generators that differ in size.
efficient harbour operation
When your vessel is docked, there are three possibilities of
saving fuel and reducing both smog and CO 2 emissions:
• Shore connection operation
educe your service and maintenance hours
Our power management solutions are based on the latest
fuel-efficient technology. As a result, our solutions will not
only allow you to cut your consumption of fuel – you will
also be able to contribute to reducing harbour smog and CO 2
emissions. Moreover, as your engines will have fewer running
hours and require less service and maintenance from the
engine manufacturers, additional expenses for service and
maintenance hours will also drop.
Minimise your down-time
Our in-house type-tests ensure an absolute minimum of downtime
for applications featuring our products. In order to maintain
a consistently high level of quality, all of our products are tested
before being shipped to their destination. The tests are part of an
Automatic Test Sequence (ATS) from which all data is stored.
training for your operators
Even the best technology needs skilled operators for optimum
performance. That is why we have set up modern training
centres in our subsidiaries and outlets across the world. In our
hazard-free and controlled facitilities, you can simulate a wide
range of fault conditions and receive realistic hands-on training
under professional guidance.
