Drama Club ~ All students are welcome to join our Open Mic Mondays and Thursday<br />
Improv Workout in the theatre lobby during lunch. To become a member of the Drama<br />
Club, your son must first earn 10 “Star Points” by participating in theatrical activities.<br />
Our Drama Club is impressively active this year, with many competitions and field trips.<br />
Lucky ’13: A Labor of Love Alumni Revival – is 11 months away. You will hear more<br />
on a monthly basis and we hope you will be in touch to fill our house on September 2 nd ,<br />

STUDENT ACTIVITIES<br />
EDUCATIONAL ASSEMBLY & COMMUNITY NIGHT: On Thursday, <strong>Oct</strong>ober 4 th Mr.<br />
Calvin Terrell of the Social Centric Institute will be on campus for an assembly with the<br />
ARHS student body. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Terrell and his message to teens<br />
about bullying, diversity, and courage. We are especially pleased that Mr. Terrell will be<br />
returning to campus the evening of the 4 th to host a “Community Night” in which parents,<br />
teachers, coaches, and families are invited to hear his message. Hopefully you will be<br />
able to join us for this extremely valuable event. The evening begins at 6:00 pm in the<br />
James Lindland Theater.<br />
CLUBS: Clubs are in full swing and even if your son missed sign-ups, he can still join a<br />
club by contacting the moderator of that group. The schedule of club meeting times is<br />
posted below. If your son is looking for a way to get involved in student life, this could<br />
provide a great opportunity.<br />
DANCE: Our first dance of the year was held on September 7 th and was a huge<br />
success—more than 500 students danced the night away in Chaminade Hall. Thanks to<br />
Mr. David Elu, student government, and the dance committee for their hard work,<br />
organizing this fun event. A special thanks also goes to the faculty/staff members and<br />
parents who assisted by chaperoning this event.<br />
HOMECOMING WEEK: This year’s homecoming week begins on <strong>Oct</strong>ober 15 th and<br />
ends with our varsity football game against Saint Ignatius on Saturday, <strong>Oct</strong>ober 20 th at<br />
<strong>Riordan</strong>. The annual homecoming dance is scheduled for Saturday evening, from 7:00-<br />
10:00 pm in the school cafeteria. Tickets for the homecoming dance will be available at
