The Home Technology <strong>Expo</strong> in Association with Classic Fm<br />
This show took place at the Coca Cola Dome in 2004, from sound &<br />
lighting to carpeting, electronics and shell scheme – <strong>EventX</strong> put the<br />
entire event together. This 4 day event, included 300 stands of the<br />
latest home trends on the market at the time, with brands like Sony,<br />
Microsoft, Teljoy, Panasonic, Nikon and many more. This very niche<br />
show saw 10 500 feet over the show dates and proved to be a great<br />
success in introducing the public to the best technology on the market.<br />
This show is now in its 3rd successive year…<br />

Home Loans<br />
The first East Rand Home <strong>Expo</strong> took place in the Centre Court (3500m2)<br />
of Emperors Palace next to the JHB Int. Airport on the East Rand – this<br />
show shot us to fame and is now in its 3rd consecutive show. The<br />
residents on the East Rand were starved for great Home Improvement<br />
products but didn’t always feel like driving to the north to find them.<br />
On this shows debut we had 16 000 feet. From radio campaigns to<br />
competitions & giveaways, <strong>EventX</strong> successfully created & managed a<br />
super star event!

This show caused a great stir on the East Rand, with the best local<br />
and international brands money can buy, the resident of the East<br />
Rand shopped up a storm for 3 days.<br />
Each one of the bigger exhibitions takes a total of 7 days including<br />
build up, break down & show days.<br />

One of our single most successful shows, this expo is now going into its<br />
third successful year in JHB and has already expanded in The Vaal<br />

<strong>EventX</strong> was fortunate enough to help the Gauteng Provisional<br />
Government with the First Ever Energy Efficient Exhibition in South<br />
Africa.<br />
This show was mainly aimed at educating the public on which energy<br />
efficient products are on the market at the moment.<br />
<strong>EventX</strong> was contracted to selling out the<br />
exhibition space and carry out the<br />
marketing campaign.

MegaFest, was founded by Bishop T. D. Jakes and launched in 2004 in Atlanta, USA. The inaugural event<br />
attracted over 140,000 attendees daily from a multicultural audience that included families with various<br />
incomes, over 20,000 teenagers and children, professionals, entrepreneurs, and a strong group of upwardly<br />
mobile and affluent individuals.<br />
MegaFest is one of the most popular spiritual gatherings held in the United States, bringing together<br />
hundreds of thousands of people. The event combines Bishop Jakes' signature conference* Woman, Thou<br />
Ad Loosed! and ManPower with the high energy Mega Youth Experience and MegaKidz.<br />
MegaFest International South Africa<br />
MegaFest International 2008 South Africa promises to be a positive, family-friendly experience that offers<br />
a wide variety of opportunities for growth, empowerment, and wholesome fun.<br />
MegaFest International will be 2 day event at the Nasrec <strong>Expo</strong> Centre. The two power-packed days will<br />
include stimulating workshops, high-voltage music & comedy performances by award-winning artists like<br />
Alicia Keys, and cutting-edge special events. Previous special guests and speakers include Will Smith and<br />
Grammy award winning artists.<br />
For Bishop Jakes, MegaFesf International was the next logical step in the evolution of the event. In his own<br />
words; "At the previous MegaFest events, we had people attend from all over the wm, all ethnicities, all<br />
religions; so many different cultures were in the room. As I Iooked out, the feel was so much more aligned<br />
to an international event, than a U.S. specific event," said Jake. "I believe the true purpose of the minisfry<br />
is to go beyond your traditional walls and minister to the world. MegaFest International provides us with<br />
that platform."<br />
Economic Impact<br />
The economic power of the MegaFest events has set attendance and economic records in America. In<br />
South Africa we are aiming to mobilize upward of 200,000 attendees a day. According to christianpost.com,<br />
the economic impact on the city of Atlanta, USA for previous Bishop T. D. Jakes branded MegaFest events<br />
grossed, over a three-year period, upward to $125 million.<br />
Bishop Jakes will be bringing from America with him a delegation of 4,000 Americans, for whom many this<br />
will be their first trip to Africa. As well as attending the 2 days of MegaFest, the delegation will spend a<br />
further 7-10 days in South Africa on tourist excursions and special events. Nigeria has also requested 10,000<br />
tickets. As you will see we envisage this event having a huge economic impact.<br />
