Texas Hold’em Tournament
The Holy Name Society invites all parishioners and
friends of St. Thomas Aquinas (men and women) to
play in a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on
Thursday, April 3, 2008. The tournament will take
place in St. Anne Hall. Space is limited, so please
reserve your spot as soon as possible. It will
start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and end at 10:00
p.m. As always, Campisi’s pizza (donated by
David Campisi) and drinks will be provided
and we will have fantastic prizes to give away.
Professional dealers will help both experienced

Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion
We would like to extend sincere thanks to the school and parish
community for making the “Bourbon Street Ball” STA Auction 2008
an overwhelming success. We are amazed to report that in every area
this year--Raffle, Silent Auction, Live Auction, Underwriting and
attendance--records were broken! It is only because of your support
that we raised an unprecedented $250,000 for St. Thomas Aquinas
schoolchildren! We believe that number will continue to grow as we
finalize the accounting process for the event.
We are so grateful to our generous underwriters and donors who helped
make the evening possible. The entire event was a reflection of the
generous, engaged and supportive St. Thomas Aquinas community and
its dedication to the success of our school. We are honored to have
been part of it and words cannot express the appreciation we feel for
the entire team who made it all possible—you have our deepest
gratitude and respect.

NOW is the time to complete your SAFE ENVIRONMENT
ANNUAL AWARENESS UPDATE TRAINING. Your current
GREEN BADGE and CLEARANCE WILL EXPIRE,
MAY 1, 2008.
Please complete your training online at www.stathomasaquinas.org and
fax or mail your form to the church office.
There will be a Live Update Training Session on Thursday, March 27
in the St. Joseph Room at 10:00 a.m. This training session is only for
Update Training. Volunteers may also receive credit for their Update
Training by attending the regular scheduled Family of Faith
Awareness Program on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the
St. Joseph Room.
Annual Gap Drive Campaign
Each year, the Annual Gap Drive benefits the students of St. Thomas
Aquinas Catholic School. Tuition rates are kept as low as possible in
order to give parish families the opportunity to provide a quality
Catholic education for their children. Fundraising makes up
the difference between the actual cost of educating a child
at STA and tuition cost, a gap of $907 per child for the '07-
'08 school year. The Annual Gap Drive contributions have
enabled our parish school to grow, enrich our curriculum,
expand our faculty's talents as well as improve facilities and school
programs. Your gifts directly benefit the children of this parish
daily. Please support our school through your tax-deductible gift to
the STA Annual Gap Drive. Pledge cards and brochures have been
mailed to parishioners, or are available through the school website,
www.staschool.org under the Development link. You may also mail a
