VENUE: ST ALBANS SCHOOL | TIME: 11:00
1915 - DIR. TOM GRAFFIN - Too many things remind Madeleine she’s old. But this Sunday, 22, she has the
opportunity to be a citizen like any other.
CAKE CREATION - DIR. MICHELLE BECKER - The story of a Pear, Blackberry and Almond Cake. From the
local water mill to a beautiful country kitchen where Ren Behan adds all the ingredients to create a delicious
cake creation.
THE GUEST - DIR. KIRA DE HEMMER JEPPESON - In Scandinavia the act of surrogacy is surrounded by
much taboo and stigmatization. Placed in a legal grey area, it is a secretive act rarely seen and spoken about
publicly. So why is a woman voluntarily and unpaid choosing to be a surrogate mother? And how does it feel?
20 ST ALBANS FILM FESTIVAL //2013
SKIN - DIR. JANINA VILSMAIER - Thanks to a colorful host of characters from different backgrounds, Skin
PETER & BEN - DIR. PINNY GRYLLS - Peter and Ben is a touching and quirky story of how two “blacksheep”
form an unusual and enduring bond.
a method of training that can help someone to overcome any obstacle in their life, be it social, physical or
mental, by first teaching them to overcome physical obstacles with movement. This style of “free jumping”
began in France in the 1970s and has since spread across the world.
Nepalese cook in Bavaria (Germany), set the ball
Erich, a musician with itchy feet, wants to track an
unlabelled cassette back to where it originated.
All because of a haunting voice singing of Govinda. But
Erich find his singer? Is there a divine plan at work in
the background? And just who is Govinda?
