Application-Specific Information
Transport:
To avoid gouges, give MONOTUB formwork tubes large-area support at all times. Damage caused by
transport or other faults must recorded on the dispatch notes upon delivery. Our warranty applies only to
faults recorded in the transport documents immediately upon arrival.
Storage:
MONOTUB formwork tubes are 100% waterproof, which allows open air storage. Installation is possible
regardless of weather conditions. Do not cover; avoid heat accumulation because of inner foil coating.
Installation:
Do not force MONOTUB formwork over reinforcement or spacers, wich may be bent too
widely. Spacers or reinforcement may damage the formwork.
Put MONOTUB formwork in pivot foundation-sided and fix with wooden cross. Straighten
out perpendicularly ceiling-sided with lashing strap and customer-provided stabilisers to
exclude traction, pressure, and buoyant forces.
Pour concrete (following DIN 1045):
MONOTUB formwork can be poured in one progress. Fill with concrete pump or hose in
steps of about 0,5m and vibrate. This should be made only internal. Pump hose or vibrator
must not tuch the inner surface of the formwork. The drop hight of the concrete while
pouring must be restricted to about 1,5m (see DBV fact sheet). Finally check plumb line
and dimensions.
Removal:
Can be opened fast and easily with the ripcord. Efficient removal of the formwork from
the concrete column. Inner coating may remain on concrete column during further time of
construction for protection.
Disposal:
Simple as recyclable waste.
