Materials
Manufactured from toughened Glass-
Reinforced Plastic (GRP) for strength and
durability, whilst also being light and easy
to install.

ESL Wet Floor Formers can safely take a
loading of up to 30 Stone (190 kg), cater-
ing for the weight of both a wheelchair
user and a carer.
The ESL Former provides a swift and cost
effective method of creating a wet floor area
that can be covered with non-slip flooring
for step-free, level access showering.
The range of preformed bases ensures that
the correct falls are created - a huge 18 mm
gradient to the drain – coupled with a
waste position designed to create a truly
unhindered showering area.
Design features

drain for swift water dispersal.
Stylish stainless steel drain cover provides
a quality finish.
40 mm flat edge surround ensures a good
water seal for the doors.
Can be used with the extensive range of
ESL door options.
Formers are available for both gravity and
pumped waste installations.
Noise reduction on pumped waste
The unique design of the gully has the
effect of reducing noise from the pump for
a quieter, less intrusive solution.
Automatic pump activation
In addition to the unique gully, our form-
ers are equipped with ESL Pressalit Care’s
tried and tested automatic pump activation
system.
In conjunction with the Whale Gulper pump
this system has been designed to ensure
that the pump operation can be matched
to the requirements of the installation to
ensure the lowest possible noise levels are
achieved.
No flow switch is needed for the pump.
Guarantee 15 Years
ESL Pressalit Care guarantees to remedy
material and manufacturing defects for a
period of 15 years from the invoicing date.
(Excludes pump).

Pumped formers come complete with
built-in waste sump and pump. Also
included in the kit are a number of pipe
connectors to handle most installation
requirements.
Gravity Formers
Former L x W: 1000 x 1000 mm
Former L x W: 1200 x 750 mm
Former L x W: 1500 x 800 mm
Former L x W: 1200 x 1200 mm
Drain placed on centre line (X).
Gravity formers come complete with an
untrapped waste and a HepVO (waste
non return valve).
This must be sited in accordance with
current building regulations.

a wet floor area in both concrete and timber
floors. The huge 18 mm preformed gradient
saves time and labour creating difficult falls.
Formers have a textured surface to aid
adhesion to most proprietory vinyl flooring,
e.g. Altro.
Drain cover acts as a clamping plate to
secure the vinyl flooring coming into the
waste.
Range of sizes available to suit most
installation requirements.
Designed to be installed in both timber
and concrete floors.
In timber floors can be placed directly
onto flooring joists.
Waste position designed to maximise
unhindered showering area.
Formers are lightweight making both
handling and installation easy.
Overall tray depth is 22 mm allowing ease
of installation within standard timber floors
and ply overboard.
Suitable for safety floor applications.
