Comprehensive Breast Imaging
• Digital Mammography – Mammography is the gold standard in breast imaging and can detect cancer
and other problems before lumps become large enough to be felt, as well as assisting in the diagnosis
of other breast problems. International organisations recommend screening mammography at least
every two years for women, beginning at age 40.
• Breast Ultrasound - Contributes to the diagnosis of breast abnormalities, characterises potential
abnormalities and determines if an abnormality is a cancerous tumour or benign cysts. Ultrasound
is used as a complementary examination to mammography in screening and does not replace
mammography. Combining ultrasound and mammography in the breast screening process
significantly increases earller detection of cancers especially amongst women with dense breasts.
• Breast MRI – Breast MRI is not a replacement of mammography or ultrasound but an essential
supplement tool for detecting and staging breast cancer or other breast abnormalities. Breast MRI is
the gold standard of imaging for the assessment of breast implants.

Colon Screening
Virtual Colonoscopy - our Lowest Radiation Dose/High Definition CT Virtual Colonoscopy

recovery
• Detects silent abnormalities in the colon and bowel such as polyps, diverticulitis and cancer
• Markedly lower risk of perforating the colon than conventional colonoscopy; excellent alternative for
patients with complication risks, such as blood thinner treatment or severe breathing problems.

Comprehensive Imaging
Our advanced technology and team of experts provides outstanding detailed studies for increased

Cardiac Imaging
• CT Heart Scan - Detects coronary artery disease before it becomes symptomatic allowing preventive
measures and reducing long-term risk of heart disease; includes heart function analysis, earliest
detection of vascular plaques and obstructions, and coronary calcium scoring for risk assessment.
• Cardiac 3 Tesla MRI - Provides detailed evaluations of structures and function of the heart, valves,
and major vessels, as well as perfusion and stress studies of the heart to assess and manage
coronary heart disease.
• Cardiac PET/CT - Identifies and assesses heart blood flow abnormalities (ischemic heart disease)
with high accuracy and predicts success of revascularisation procedures including angioplasty or
bypass surgery, determines coronary artery blockage, and monitors and manages post-cardiac
surgery developments.
• Cardiac Ultrasound - Echocardiography provides assessment for pre and post myocardial infarctions,
valvular heart disease as well as hypertensive heart disease. Colour Doppler Ultrasound provides
quick and accurate studies of vascular anatomy, including carotid arteries and peripheral vessels.

Neuro Imaging
• 3 Tesla Neuro MRI - Invaluable for identifying abnormalities of the brain or spine, particularly demyelinating
disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease, not possible at the 1.5 field strength - for fine detail vascular imaging
for head trauma, tumours and cerebrovascular disease. MR Angiogram studies may often supplant the
need for invasive interventional catheter studies.
• CT Neuro - Provides high definition resolution studies of focal and diffuse brain disease, particularly studies
for stroke and infarction evaluations, and critical in post trauma and post operative assessments.
• PET/CT Neuro - Provides new paths to diagnose the early stages of Alzheimer’s and other dementia,
determines the location of epileptic seizures prior to surgery and diagnosis movement disorders - providing
information for early diagnosis and staging of complex neurological disease.

Oncology Imaging
• Total Body PET/CT Imaging - Detects early onset of disease before it is evident on other imaging tests by
identifying changes in the body at the cellular level; identifies benign and malignant growths, establishes
cancer staging, determines or monitors appropriate treatments, or provides whole-body survey for cancer
that may have spread, detecting any early recurrent tumours.
• 3T MRI Oncology - Presents improved tumour localisation and nodal staging due to the greater ability to
detect spread and local invasion of structures as well as in the assessment of lesions in deep muscle and is
particularly useful in planning oncology therapy. MR Spectroscopy plays a vital role in diagnosis, treatment
planning and follow-up in Oncology practices.
• CT Oncology - Contributes to critical lesion characterisation and cancer management procedures, especially
useful in understanding the spread of cancer and the relation between tumours and surrounding tissues.

Lung Imaging
• Lung CT - Significant diagnostic tool for screening conditions or diseases of the lungs.
CT Lung Screening is aimed especially at smokers - lung imaging examinations are
crucial to detect any smoking related abnormality at an early stage.
• Lung MRI - Appropriate when precise detail about a tumour’s location is required; high
magnetic field 3 Tesla MRI is superb for fine detail imaging of the lungs for early stages
of disease and minute tumour identification.

Musculoskeletal Imaging
• 3 Tesla MSK MRI - Provides visualisation of anatomical details of cartilage, tendons and ligaments
as well as trabecular bone with a brilliant contrast of pathologic alterations, and is beneficial for
microscopic analysis of bone structure with accurate depiction of differences in the normal and
osteoporotic spongy bone structures, includes specialised MSK studies such as T2 mapping for
detailed calculations.
• MSK CT - Visualisation and characterisation of small lesions are unique capabilities of High Definition
CT for preoperative planning and corrective surgery includes 4D kinematic applications for joint
evaluations.
• MSK Ultrasound – Realtime dynamic examinations. Contributes to the diagnosis and often
compliments MRI/CT examinations especially those of the joints and tendons. Allows identification of
pathology and provides direct correlation between symptoms and observed pathology. Particularly
suitable for the identification of congenital abnormalities such as Congenital Dislocation of the Hip
(CHD) in paediatric patients.
• Bone Mineral Density (DXA) – Bone Mineral Density Scan of the spine and hips are considered Gold
Standard for diagnosing osteoporosis and following changes in bone density over time. It is the only
comprehensive solution for accurately and rapidly assessing total body bone composition, bone
fracture assessment, paediatric evaluations and biochemical measurements.
