As many of you know, JOY STOCKSDALE serves
SDA as Finance Director & Membership Admin. You
may not know Joy has held just about every
position within SDA since its founding in 1976.
Joy has decided to step down - effective 2.28.13.
While it just won't be the same without her steadfast
guidance, Joy will remain very active in SDA/Northern California.
We can never thank you enough, Joy.
Your contribution has literally been immeasurable.
SUSANNAH FEDOROWICH will tackle the new role
of Assistant Executive Director - responsible for
finances, membership + other initiatives.
Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she holds an

VOLUNTEER PUBLICATIONS ASSISTANTS SOUGHT
2 resume-building positions are
now available!
Members are taking advantage of SDA
WEBSITE CALENDAR to promote their
exhibitions & workshops by uploading
event information to it themselves.
2 PUBLICATIONS ASSISTANTS -
1 moderator + 1 researcher - are needed to publish more events.
Task time varies weekly from 1-3 hours; daily monitoring is best.
MODERATOR checks site for activity, edits submissions for
consistency then publishes them. Needs to be computer savvy but not
an expert; training will be provided.
RESEARCHER will become an advocate for textile arts by enriching
calendar with items of interest like award, grant, residency &
competition deadlines + exceptional international exhibitions - all
gleaned from ongoing research & broad awareness of current events
and opportunities.
Get motivated to stay on top of opportunities yourself while
attracting viewers to SDA CALENDAR as a go-to resource.
