Word of knowledge -“Jer 5:1”
"R "Run tto and d ffro through th h the th streets t t of f
Jerusalem; see now and know;
And seek in her open places. If you can
find a man, if there is anyone who
executes judgment, who seeks the
truth, and I will pardon her.”
“So I sought for a man among them
who would make a wall wall, and stand in
the gap before Me on behalf of the
land land, that I should not destroy it; but I
found no one. Therefore I have poured
out My indignation on them; I have
consumed them with the fire of My
wrath; and I have recompensed their
deeds on their own heads," says the
Lord God (Ezek 22:30 22:30-31).
Intercessor
• The word intercessor comes from the
word “to intercede”—to intervene or
mediate on behalf of another.
• Called to be both king and priest priest.
Melchizedek - king and priest
• We too are called to both assignments.
•
Jesus is our intercessor
• But He, because He continues forever,
has an unchangeable priesthood priesthood. 25
Therefore He is also able to save to the
uttermost those who come to God
through Him, since He always lives to
make intercession for them them.
Moses
Then Moses returned to the Lord and
said said, ‘Oh Oh, these people have committed
a great sin, and have made for
themselves a god of gold! Yet now now, if
You will forgive their sin — but if not, I
pray pray, blot me out of Your book which
You have written.’"
(E (Ex 32:30-32).
Jesus is our intercessor and
advocate with the Father
• Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has
passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest
who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in
all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us
therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may
obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. For
every high priest taken from among men is appointed for
men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both
gifts and sacrifices for sins.”
( (Heb 4:14-5:4). 4 14 4)
As leaders, we are called to identify and sympathize with
weaknesses of those we are to serve.

To Him who loved us and washed us
made us kings and priests to His God
Rees Howells, 1900s in Wales
• “There are three things to be seen in an intercessor
which are not necessarily found in ordinary prayer:
identification, agony and authority. The identification
of the intercessor with the ones for whom he
intercedes is perfectly seen in the Savior. Savior Of Him it
was said that He poured out His soul unto death;
and He was numbered with the transgressors; and
He bare the sin of many and made intercession for
the transgressors. As the Divine Intercessor,
interceding for a lost world, He drained the cup of
our lost condition to its last drop, He ‘tasted death for
every man.’
Rees Howells, 1900s in Wales
• Identification is the first law of the intercessor. He
pleads effectively because he gives his life for those
he pleads for; he is their genuine representative; he
has submerged his self-interest in their needs and
sufferings sufferings, and as far as possible has literally taken
their place. Every greatly used instrument of God
has been, in his measure, an intercessor: John
Wesley for backsliding England; William Booth for
the down and outs; Hudson Taylor for China; C.T.
Studd for the unevangelized world. Only so far as
we have been tested and proved willing to do a thing
ourselves can we intercede for others. Christ is our
Intercessor because He took the place of each one
prayed for.”
“I “In intercession i t i you bring b i th the
person, or the circumstance that
impinges on you before God until
you y are moved by y His attitude
towards that person or
circumstance circumstance. ”
Oswald Chambers
Rom 8:26-27
• Likewise the Spirit also helps in our
weaknesses weaknesses. For we do not know what
we should pray for as we ought, but the
Spirit Himself makes intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Now He who searches the hearts
knows what the mind of the Spirit is,
because He makes intercession for the
saints according to the will of God.
Heb 4:15-16
For we do not have a High Priest who
cannot sympathize with our
weaknesses, but was in all points
tempted as we are are, yet without sin sin. Let
us therefore come boldly to the throne
of grace, grace that we may obtain mercy and
find grace to help in time of need.
We, too, must sympathize and help those
we are called to in the inner court

We wrestle not against
flesh and blood
Eph 6:12-13
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,
bbut t against i t principalities, i i liti against i t powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the
heavenly places.
We most understand Satan’s entry points
into our lives and lives of others others.
We must understand the
demonic gates into our cities.

• And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All
authority has been given to Me in heaven and on
earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Spirit teaching them
to observe all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
age age.“ “ - Matt 28:18 28:18-20 20
• Jesus came so we could reclaim what was lost.
– Lk 19:10
Jesus delegated authority to us to
enforce the Father’s Father s covenants
Then comes the end, end when He delivers the kingdom
to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule
and all authority and power.
– 1 CCor 15 15:24-25 24 25
Authority was “licensed” licensed to us until Jesus returns. returns He is
waiting on us to exercise our authority in the inner
court. He intentionally limits His involvement.
We lose battles because of a failure to do the inner
court work work. Greater the assignment, assignment the greater
investment needed.
Are you ready to fulfill
your inner court assignment?
There are many people in prisons of their
instrument for their deliverance.
Intercession
1. Intercession allows us to internalize and deepen
our ownership of the assignment.
2. Intercession forces us to sit quietly before God to
clarify l if what h t we are called ll d tto.
33. Intercession catalyzes the actions needed for
fulfillment of the vision by depending on the Holy
Spirit to reveal our action steps.
4. Allows us to combine our faith to manifest God’s
covenant promises promises. ii.e., e Joshua & Caleb

Prayers of Repentance
I repent on behalf of your sons and daughters in the marketplace for ...
• Failing to love our wives as Christ loves the church
• For making our careers our mistress that our wives must compete
with
• For getting our male validation from the “Eve" instead of my intimacy
with the living g God.
• For allowing sex to masquerade for the true intimacy you desire to
have with us.
• For allowing self-pity to make me discouraged, desperate, and
wanting to give up. Hope deferred makes the heart sick.
•
• For seeking to defeat the enemy through religious exercise
instead of the authority and blood of Jesus that defeats and
tramples principalities.
• For entertaining spirits of accusation, self-hatred, and
rejection j ti and d not t bbelieving li i what h t GGod d says about b t me, th that t HHe
loves me without conditions, despite my failures.
• For fear of failure. You are our source. You are the vine, we are
the branches. We can do nothing without you. Jn 15
• For not fighting the battle in intercession behind the veil on
behalf of my wife, family and those in the marketplace I am
called ll d tto serve. FForgive i us ffor bbeing i as th the di disciples i l who h could ld
not stay awake with Jesus to pray.
• For making decisions out of fear of lack, forcing issues to insure
provision and operating in unbelief that my Father is my true
provider provider.
• For allowing the spirit of mammon to influence my decisions.
• For allowing fear of lack to make me hoard and not share with
the needy.
• For being led only by my natural instincts instead of the Spirit of
God. "Not by y might, g , nor by y p power, , but by y my y Spirit p sayeth y the
Lord. Zech 4:6
• For harboring unforgiveness toward those who have wronged
me, thereby holding them and me hostage.
• For pride that prevents me from being teachable and entices
me into works of my flesh.
• For not being willing to be still and wait on God. Ps 27
• For using witchcraft to make false claims to sell my products.
• For failing to have integrity in my inward parts parts. Ps 51
• For not believing we are loved by my Father. That we would
kknow th the ddepth th and d width idth and d hheight i ht of f your llove and d th that t
nothing separates us from the love of God.
• For pride in our achievements without acknowledgement of You as our
source
– You may say to yourself, yourself "My My power and the strength of my hands have produced this
wealth for me."....If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and
worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be
destroyed. Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed
for not obeying the Lord your God (Deuteronomy 8:17,19-20).
• For losing what you gave us. Lk 19:10 we reclaim it through Jesus
Christ
• For failure to validate our wives and children with our words
• For operating in the Babylonian system of commerce of sweat and toil
and greed. Rev 18:4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying,
"Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her
sins, and that you don't receive of her plagues.
• For failing to live from my heart and not loving our
wives, children and Jesus from our true heart.
• For failing to view our work as a holy calling. Col
321 3:21
• For failing to die so that Christ may live through me me.
Gal 2:20
– "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless not I, but Christ in
me. Th The life lif I now live li I live li by b faith f ith in i the th SSon of f GGod d who h
2 Chron 7:14-15
If My people who are called by My
name will humble themselves, and pray
and seek My face face, and turn from their
wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven heaven, and will forgive their sin and
heal their land.
