Thanks to their characteristics,
JACKODUR insulation strips are
easy to work with and offer clear
advantages in conventional interior
construction – in new buildings just
as much as when building in existing
structures – when compared to using
wooden roof battens.
JACKODUR insulation strips are
exactly the same width as the
rafters and are secured with nails
(e.g. JACKODUR S-nails). Following
this, the cavity can be filled with
thermal insulation. The moisture
barrier can be easily secured to the
compressed-foam surface of the
JACKODUR insulation strips with
a staple gun.
After this a counter batten is laid,
which acts as a substructure for the
subsequent facing inside the room.
