Under Starters Orders
As we move towards the playing season the Match &
Handicap committee have provided some useful
information for all of our members participating
competitions that run via the start sheet.
Key items to remember
1. The competition ballot is 4 weeks before the actual
competition. You have to register on the computer
in the hallway.
2. You will be notified by email of your start time, if you
haven’t registered an email address with the club
then please do so, this will speed up your booking
process and you will receive other useful information
about your golf club.
3. If you find you cannot make your tee time then you
must remove your name from the draw or inform the
professional before the competition, this will allow
reallocation of your tee time to other members on
the waiting list. Failure to notify the professional may
result in suspension of your entry for the next
competition.
4. You must also book into the competition a minimum
of 20 minutes before your tee time. Failure to do so
may result in you losing your tee time.
5. Finally, by following these simple tasks will result in
a smooth starting process and make for a great start
to your round.

If there was ever a
time to think about
your golf
management. This
would have been a
good time.
Anyone for golf.
Lee Trevino always advocated to hold a 1 iron in the air as
god could not hit a 1 iron.
He was struck by lightening twice in his career., he must
have used a hybrid!
Extreme gravel banding, don’t tell the
green keeper.
