PRe-tReat Instruments must remain moist to avoid blood, mucus or other bio burden, which may cause damage if allowed to dry on the instrument. • Enzymatic solutions with neutral pH are preferred to pre-soak/hold instruments • Never soak instruments overnight/weekend • Never use disinfectant as a ‘’holding solution’’ 2. Rinse Rinse instruments for 30 seconds under warm distilled or demineralized water.
