& the seven dwarfs
One snowy night in a castle far away, a little
Princess was born. Her parents named her
Snow White. As the years passed, she grew up to be
a lovely young woman. Her beauty and her gentle
nature won the hearts of all who knew her. After
Snow White’s father died, she lived in the castle with
her Stepmother – the Queen Cruella. The Queen was
very beautiful, but she was also cold and heartless.
She was jealous of Snow White’s beauty...
has appeared in many Shakespeare
productions including Touchstone in
As You Like It, Petruchio in The Taming
Of The Shrew and Master Page in The
Merry Wives of Windsor. This is Scott’s third production with PMA after already
appearing as Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk two years ago and then taking
on the role of director and Father Christmas himself in Rock Christmas show The
Night Before Christmas at Darwen library Theatre last year. With Christmas shows
in mind, Scott has also performed as the Sultan in Aladdin at the Lowry theatre,
Scott is a big lover of musical theatre and has enjoyed appearing in review shows,
performing songs from the west end and playing Teddy Klein in the new musical
That Perfect Tonic at the Mill Theatre. He has also co-written and directed his own
musical Making Waves and Co-produced, directed, written and appeared in the
Fiona Egan
Queen Cruella This is Fiona’s third pantomime for
PMA productions. Last year saw her
playing Dim elf & Ice Queen in The
Night before Christmas, and prior to
that, the Giant and Queen in Jack &
the Beanstalk. So it is lovely to be
back amongst old friends again this
year playing the Wicked Queen (I
can see a theme starting here!)
9
It has been a busy year, playing Viola
in Twelfth Night, and turning back
time for Granada to appear in Love
Lies Bleeding, a two part drama for next
year. Fiona plays the mother in 1976,
complete with bouffant hair, A- line
skirt, and nylon wing tipped blouse.
Yum! In between she can still be seen
presenting on the satellite sky channel,
Gems TV, presenting live a wide
spectrum of handcrafted jewellery.
Fiona is no stranger to Lancashire though, as previous tours of New Life and
The Pendle Witches for Blaize Theatre Company have taken her all round the
surrounding countryside. Shakespeare touring shows have also brought her
to this neck of the woods, as Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Kate
in The Taming of the Shrew, Rosalind in As You Like It and Lady Macbeth in
Macbeth.
She is looking forward to the festive season with you, by cracking open a
few holsten pils to keep the cold at bay, and by watching old re-runs of her
favourite, Danny Kaye movies.

where he has just produced Beauty and The
Beast at Darwen Library Theatre, and written,
performed and produced Dick Whittington
at The Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond,
North Yorkshire this Christmas season.
Especially as The Stage newspaper last year
voted his Cinderella “The best pantomime they
had ever seen in their entire lives!” (They don’t
get out much!)
The last twelve months have been busy ones (even though most people think he only works two
weeks a year!). He wrote and produced The Wizard of Oz (twice), a theatre in education tour of
schools in Rossendale on the subject of Healthy Schools and was involved in the production team
on the fi ftieth anniversary of Salad Days.
2006 would appear to be exciting with a fi lm to produce in New Zealand, a theatre tour of Alice in
Wonderland, an Easter residency of Snow White at Tameside
Hippodrome and Peter Pan at Billingham Forum - in between
sleeping, eating and drinking! Well, Drinking!!
Finally, he would like to thank the good folks of Colne for
welcoming him back for his tenth consecutive performance
at The Muni - this year as Muddles - same face, different
dungarees! And before anyone says it - different gags!
George would like to thank all his sponsors:
Marsden Building Society
HSBC (Cannock)
Woolworths (in Accrington, Cannock and Burnley)
Sweet Clough Dairy Ice Cream
Burnley Football Club
A special thankyou to all the parents of all the
dancers at each of the dance schools.
A big thankyou to theatre managers and staff for
their support.
