Repair and Restoration of <strong>Church</strong><br />
Plate and Brassware<br />
We are able to undertake the repair and restoration<br />
of most ecclesiastical metal items in our silver and<br />
brass workshops.<br />
This service includes silver plating and gold plating<br />
and the repair or replacement of damaged or worn<br />
components on plated or solid silver items, all carried<br />
out by our skilled craftsmen<br />
We are also experienced in the repair and restoration<br />
of brassware of all types including re-polishing and<br />
lacquering.<br />
Quotations are available completely free of charge<br />
but it is necessary for our workshops to view the<br />
articles before any quotation can be given.<br />
Engraving<br />
Machine and hand engraved inscriptions can be undertaken on the<br />
majority of solid silver, plated or brass items. Details of the required<br />
inscription are required in writing along with instructions as to the<br />
position of the engraving on the particular item. Quotations for<br />
engravings are available free and without obligation on receipt of details<br />

Ecclesiastical Silver - Special Commissions<br />
Whilst this brochure shows our comprehensive range<br />
of silverware we are also experienced in undertaking<br />
commissions for special silver or metal items. This ranges<br />
from manufacturing pieces to customers specifications<br />
to producing near replicas of items from sketches or<br />
photographs.<br />
Quotations for this service are completely free of charge<br />
and without obligation and will be provided on receipt<br />
of full details of the required piece.<br />
The illustration opposite shows replica pieces produced by<br />
<strong>Vanpoulles</strong> in solid silver. These were based on<br />
sketches and photographs supplied by the customer<br />
after the originals were stolen.<br />
Secondhand Items<br />
<strong>Vanpoulles</strong> regularly purchase good quality secondhand<br />
items of church furniture from silver and brass pieces to<br />
items of woodwork and statuary. Please contact us with<br />
details of the items you are seeking to dispose of and we<br />
will be pleased to let you know if they are of interest.<br />
For customers wishing to purchase secondhand items it<br />
