The use of unique instrumentation<br />

offered in the VariAx TM <strong>Distal</strong> <strong>Radius</strong><br />

<strong>System</strong> allows for fast implantation and<br />

more efficient use of OR time.<br />

• New Depth Gauge design can be<br />

utilized in a single or two hand mode<br />

according to the surgeons´ preference<br />

• The Fixed Angle Drill Guide is<br />

designed to provide same placement<br />

of screw options in every case. It<br />

allows to follow the pre-determined<br />

screw pattern of the left and right<br />

volar plates in cases where variable<br />

angle locking is not required.<br />

• The SmartLock Polyaxial Drill<br />

Guide allows for ±15 degrees of<br />

custom angulation. This may allow<br />

for the surgeon to aim where the<br />

screw/peg should be placed.<br />

• Zebra Striped K-Wires offer<br />

markings in 5mm increments.<br />

• The K-Wire Bender/Cutter offers<br />

the ability to bend and cut the k-wires<br />

as well as aids in the k-wire insertion<br />

process for proper fracture fixation.<br />

This multi-use tool helps to decrease<br />

the use of multiple instruments<br />

which could lengthen OR time and<br />

decrease efficiency.<br />

• Double-sided instruments offer<br />
