The Sindelfingen is an extraordinarily beautiful design imitating a ‘floating seat’, anchored only at one end. As a result the bench has a unique lightness about it whilst making a sturdy statement. The bench is manufactured using robust welded flat steel bar with 55mm wide wooden slats. Additionally using ‘thermo wood’ we have a further option. Height 445mm, depth 380mm, length 1,805mm, designed for below ground fix into a 1,000x800x500mm footing. 2 HOCKENHEIM SEAT The Hockenheim seat is a robust design with great character, able to make a real statement in an urban environment. The contrast between the tubular supports and the square slats linked by a ‘V’ shaped support creates an incongruous juxtaposition of lines. Manufactured from steel and hardwood, the wooden slats of the seat are available as standard in untreated Kambala wood or optionally we can supply the wood impregnated. Additionally using ‘thermo wood’ we have a further option. The steelwork is galvanised and is delivered powder coated as standard in white aluminium, comparable to RAL 9006. Designed G Kölz. The design evokes an abstract flower form, by using a very simple set of curves slightly offset to produce the feeling of flower stems and the result is a seat which certainly invites people to sit and rest. The seats are delivered in a standard colour of anthracite grey, comparable to RAL 7016, though other colours are available on request. The wooden slats are untreated Kambala as standard, but again these can be ordered treated if required. The standard design is for a bolt down option using the metal base plates.
