The Agile Process (e.g. Scrum) 28.09.2012 Truly Agile Actuarial Applica*ons 9 • Organise your team like a rugby team • High degree of self organisa*on of the team • Itera*ons are called sprints (1-‐4 weeks) • Each sprint starts with planning • Each sprint ends with retrospec*ve/review • Each day, the daily scrum (15’) is held where each team member answers three ques*ons: 1. What did I do yesterday? 2. What will I do today? 3. Where am I blocked? • Scrum supports the agile development with a light-‐weight process • However, Scrum is not the only enabler needed!
