Faith <strong>Maydwell</strong> was born in Perth, Western Australia.<br />
After finishing postgraduate study at the University of Western<br />
Australia her musical experience has included, ac<strong>com</strong>panying, solo<br />
broadcasts, orchestral piano (West Australian Symphony Orchestra),<br />
examining, presented papers at piano conferences and workshops<br />
as well as group piano teaching in specialist music schools and at<br />
university. She is currently lecturing in sight reading and piano<br />
pedagogy at the West Australian Academy of Performing<br />
Arts and has maintained her private piano studio.<br />
