Many local contestants will be participating in the event. Tickets are available at the gate. Starts at 7pm on Saturday and 1:30pm on Sunday. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2: The Community Circle 5K Run will begin at 7am at East Sparta Church of God with registrations. The race will begin at 8am on the hill beside the church. The fee is $30 and you will receive a t-shirt for your participation. A Health Fair is also slated during the day’s events with proceeds supporting the outreach and community helps ministries of the Community Circle of Care. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5: The Tennessee Order of Confederate Rose, Dibrell’s White Roses, will meet at the White County Public Library at 7pm. Visitors are welcome. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 5: The General George Gibbs Dibrell Sons of the Confederacy will meet at the White County Public Library at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12: The White County Democratic Party will be meeting in the third floor court room at the White County Courthouse at 7pm. Everyone is invited to attend. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6 The Captain Sally Tompkins #2123 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will be meeting in the upper level of the Putnam County Library at noon. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16: The TN State Button Society meets on the 3rd Saturday each month at 10am at the Ponderosa Steakhouse in Lebanon.
