3. The 1405 service date (retirement pay multiplier) for officers and enlisted on attaining 18 years of
active military service.
4. When on EAD, DOR equals permanent grade DOR unless one of the following applies: either the
officer's permanent grade is higher than the current grade, or the permanent grade DOR is earlier
than the CGDOR when the permanent and current grade are equal.
