The world-wide launch of the first collection of carbon fibre bags, bearing the logo of Automobili
Lamborghini.
Utilised in industrial applications at the cutting edge of technology and noted for its characteristics
of being resilient and lightweight, this material is linked to products such as top of the
range bicycles, yachts, aeroplanes and of course super sports cars.
No-one up to today has utilised carbon fibre as a soft material to produce fashion accessories,
or created a flexible material to make unique bags.
The collection for both men and women created by Lamborghini and made in Italy, consists
of a travel bag, a messenger, and a postman style bag of different dimensions. They each possess
a pure and essential design, and are completed in fine hand-stitched leather, accessories
in palladium-finish galvanised brass, hand-mounted studs, cotton lining. Each detail has been
carefully studied to guarantee maximum functionality. The colour is unique and recognisably
black with graphite reflections as is natural carbon fibre, worked with diagonal weaving. The
uniqueness of these products is not by chance but has been carefully studied, in fact each bag
is one of a kind, entirely made by hand by craftsmen who carry out each phase of the process,
from the first to the last.
The soft Travel Bag is a trunk-style with two handles, which measures 50x22x29 cms, its shape
is highlighted by the detail which only luxury products can offer, a spacious internal pocket and
above all its size, designed to be carried on an aeroplane as hand-luggage.
The Messenger Bag measures 37x11x30 cms and has been designed as a laptop carrier. It has
an adjustable strap and three separate compartments, as well as a zip-up pocket to protect
objects inside.
The Envelope style Bag completes the range, measuring 31x32 cms and is perfect to carry a
notebook easily accessible if placed in the open back pocket, or protected in the zip-up pocket.
There are also compartments for a wallet, telephone and pens.
