ACI’s <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® is a SAFE, innovative<br />
and cost-effective solution for the<br />
cleaning and de-dusting of personnel.<br />
Available in both wall-mounted and portable formats,<br />
the <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® is also capable of removing liquids and<br />
debris from machinery and components.<br />
Compressed air can be very harmful if misused,<br />
particularly if it comes into direct contact with bare<br />
skin. Installing an ACI <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® will allow all employees<br />
to safely ‘clean-down’ without putting themselves into<br />

• Safe – the <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® employs high volume, low<br />
pressure air (2.52PSIG / 70In.Swg) which poses no<br />
threat to personal safety<br />
• Low noise emissions – with levels below 78db(A),<br />
the <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® is typically lower than most compressed<br />
air nozzle units<br />
• OSHA – the <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® is compliant with North<br />
American safety standards<br />
• Cost effective - the <strong>JetBlack</strong> ® uses blower powered<br />
air which typically costs less than 10% of the<br />
equivalent compressed air generation<br />
Reasons not to use compressed air for<br />
cleaning and de-dusting operations<br />
• Compressed air always has the potential to be<br />
extremely dangerous so try and avoid its use when<br />
cleaning and de-dusting down overalls and clothing<br />
• <strong>Air</strong> pressured at just 12PSIG can force an eye form its<br />
socket<br />
• Compressed air accidentally blown into the mouth can<br />
rupture the lungs, stomach and intestines<br />
• Compressed air can penetrate human skin. If it enters<br />
the blood stream it can be fatal by causing a heart<br />
attack<br />
