l. Fielder damaging the pitch<br />
• Any fielder causing avoidable damage to the pitch, at the first instance inform<br />
the other umpire<br />
• The bowler’s end umpire shall apply the following procedures as in [section<br />
13(a)(i) and (ii)]<br />
• Any fielder in that innings causing further avoidable damage to the pitch, the<br />
bowler’s end umpire shall apply [section (13)(b)(i-iv)]<br />
m. Batsman damaging the pitch<br />
• Either batsman causing avoidable damage to the pitch<br />
• At the first instance [section (14)(a)]<br />
• Procedure to be followed by bowler’s end umpire [section 14(a)(i) and (ii)]<br />
• Any further instance of avoidable damage by any batsman in that innings,<br />
procedure to be applied by bowler’s end umpire as in [section (b)(i-iv) and<br />
(c)]<br />
n. Bowler attempting to run out non-striker before delivery<br />
• How bowler is permitted<br />
• Whether the attempt is successful or not<br />
• Ball not to count as one of the over<br />
• If bowler fails in attempt to run out non-striker, umpire to call and signal dead<br />
ball as soon as possible<br />
o. Batsmen attempting to gain advantage during bowler’s run-up<br />
• It is unfair for a batsman to steal a run during the bowler’s run up<br />
• Only allowed if bowler attempts to run out either batsman<br />
• Procedure to be followed by bowler’s end umpire as in [section (16)(i-vi)]<br />
