CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
As this year comes to an end, I am looking
forward to 2012. It has been my pleasure to
work with last year’s board and I am looking
forward to working with them and all new
officers. Thanks to all who helped move the
club forward this year. It was nice to see so
many people interested in doing things for
our club.
The bar has had a very profitable year and
hopefully an even better one next year.
Remember, it takes the members to support
our club.
I would like to thank Dave Coffey, Dan
McEnhill, Charlie Wineberg, Billy
McLaughlin, Jimmy Burns, Mike DiMario,
Steve Weindel, Mark Hecksher. For all their
help For making the service bar possible.
The New Years Eve party was a huge
success. Over 110 people attended. I would
like to give a big “way to go” to our new
kitchen. Mary and Chaly did an excellent
job. The surf and turf and the buffet was
outstanding. I heard nothing but
compliments.
I want to thank the bar staff, Judy and Mary,
and a last minute stand, Krista McGuire, for
also doing a great job!!
Thanks to Jack Gresch, Jim Burns, and Steve
Weindel for their help with bar backing.
A very special thank you goes out to the
Ladies Auxiliary. They make every event
come together. You are a great part of
WEBC!!!
PRESIDENT’S REPORT
As a new year begins we need all
members, new and old, to support our
club. We are working to make, what in my
opinion, the best club on the river even
better. As president and a member I am
proud to call WEBC my club.
LADIES AUXILIARY
Thanks to all the members for their support
this year. We are only as good as the
Membership makes us. We would like to
make a special thanks to Santa Clause for
the donation to the Xmas Party for the
kids. SHH we didn’t have to pay for the
puppet show.
Also a special thanks to our bartenders and
Charlie Wineberg, Steve Weindel, Squirrel
(Ed Wiernicki) and Jimmy Burns, For
being at our beckoned call.
We need more people to join our group.
More people, more events, which means
more money we can raise for the club.
Remember everything we make goes back
to the club for expenses or to the kids
parties we hold every year. We are in need
for ideas for events that won’t cost a lot
and that everyone would be interested in. If
you have any ideas please let us know.
