The aim of <strong>Outdoor</strong> <strong>Education</strong><br />

at <strong>Hale</strong> <strong>School</strong> is to:<br />

Provide students with some learning<br />

experiences which will enable them to face<br />

challenges in their lives with increased selfconfidence<br />

and resilience<br />

Encourage group cooperation, empathy and<br />

trust in others<br />

Demonstrate leadership skills and effective<br />

problem solving<br />

Connect with the natural environment<br />

Acquire hard skills with which to recreate
