Have you heard the advice “Do whatever you are good at”? Well that’s what<br />

making money on Fiverr (www.fiverr.com) is all about. Even if you are fairly good<br />

at something, that can be sold on Fiverr. No experience necessary. No age limit.<br />

No geographical restrictions.<br />

What is Fiverr<br />

Let’s put it this way: Fiverr is a place where you can sell your services for $5<br />

(actually $4, Fiverr take $1 commission) or buy services for $5, and by services, I<br />

mean anything that you can possibly do. Ever heard of freelancing? Fiverr is<br />

freelancing on steroids! It connects buyers and sellers in the simplest way ever<br />

founded on internet. If you are new to the whole concept of making money<br />

online, Fiverr could be the best place to start.<br />

So anything you can fill in the blanks with in the above picture is a money-making<br />

opportunity on Fiverr.<br />

Examples<br />

Let’s dive into some examples right away. Some of things people are doing on<br />

Fiverr for $5:<br />

Did you see how easy it is? So say you live in Paris, you could do the following gig:<br />

I will stand near Eiffel Tower and hold you company’s banner for $5<br />

One of my gigs that I run on Fiverr was:<br />

I will send you postcards from Bahrain for $5<br />

Think about something you can do easily in a short amount of time; these are the<br />

best things to sell on Fiverr. I have a little software that can convert pdf files to<br />

Amazon Kindle format. “Turn that into cash!” I told myself! So my gig was as<br />

simple as this:<br />

Headline<br />

A Fiverr gig consists of two main elements: headline and the body. Here’s how to<br />

produce headlines that will fall on reader’s eyes and make them click your gig.<br />

Be specific: Make your headline a bit detailed, not to the extent to<br />

distraction, but specific enough to make you stand out from other gigs. For<br />

example, check out this one:<br />

This user could have written, “I will record a voice over for $5” but the<br />

added information “I will record a voice over in a British English Accent for<br />

$5” makes it stand out from the rest. And it’s more specific. But it’s not so<br />

wordy; it’s just a little more specific. Once you click the headline, the<br />

description can be read, that’s where rest of the details can be dumped.<br />

Be funny: If you can be funny with your headlines, please do it! Just like<br />

funny people, funny headlines get more click-through rates! Example:<br />

Be unique: If you can provide a service in an unsaturated market, chances<br />

are you will be read. For example once I put up the following on Fiverr:<br />

Body<br />

There’s literally no one else on Fiverr who offers to be your personal time<br />

manager for a day! Quite unique isn’t it! It got 800 clicks in just a few days.<br />

When you click the headline, the description (or body) shows up. This is very<br />

interesting. You can only write up to 450 words of description so you’ve got to<br />

make sure you write it in a persuasive way. Here’s where you put more details<br />

about your offer and put links to your samples if you have any. The best way to<br />

learn how to do such persuasive writing is to read other people’s gigs.<br />

Promote Your Gig<br />

The more “views” or clicks your gig receives, the more it will show up on Fiverr’s<br />

frontpage (or 2 nd page or 3 rd or 4 th and so on) or when someone searches for a<br />

particular gig on Fiverr search box. So it makes sense if you promote your Fiverr<br />

gigs, chances are money you will make out of it. Some tips for promotion:<br />

Promote it on Twitter/Facebook: Click “Seller” on the top bar and select<br />

“My Gigs”. All your gigs will be listed there. Any gig you want to promote,<br />

just click “promote” as shown below and twitter/facebook options will be<br />

shown<br />

Promote it on forums: I’ll talk more about forums in chapter 2. But the idea<br />

is simple: There are various forums on the internet for various niches, so<br />

you can select a forum of your interest and then either actively or passively<br />

promote your Fiverr services there.<br />

No Need To Be An Expert<br />

You don’t need to be an expert at the services you offer on Fiverr. Although<br />

expertise will help, it’s not necessary. I showed you an example above of<br />

someone who offers to do voice over recording. How long does it take it take to<br />

be just “good enough” at voice-over recording? Just a few days. How long does it<br />

take to learn to use a normal digital camera? A few minutes. So you don’t have to<br />

go for high-profile services on Fiverr. Take your time to play around at Fiverr,<br />

experiment with anything and everything. And yes, happy money-making!<br />

send out has that auto-text written underneath.<br />

When you create a signature in Warrior Forum, it will show up under every post<br />

you write. So say you created a gig on Fiverr. Now you can copy the link of that gig<br />

and use it as a signature on Warrior Forum. That’s very basic by the way, but at<br />

the same time very powerful too.<br />

Advantages of having a signature? It’s your very own self-referral system! And it’s<br />

exactly how many internet marketers sell their services on Warrior Forum. That’s<br />

indirect selling. Some one notices your services because of the signature and then<br />

they might even contact you for some projects.<br />

That’s very powerful because at any given time, there are literally thousands of<br />

internet marketers and wana-be internet marketers present on the forum. And<br />

these are not casual visitors. It’s a hungry crowd out there! And they can snap<br />

This is very interesting. People who get the hang of this forum and get used to<br />

how it works, they start selling their products via Warrior Special Offers (WSO).<br />

That’s an advanced membership level and requires initial investment of around<br />

$40. But the dividends are huge. Just check out some of the WSO’s there and<br />

you’ll know what I am talking about.<br />

Once you become competent enough to create an info-product (more about this<br />

in chapter 6) of your own, you can create a WSO and start making money out of<br />

it. But the only kind of products that get sold here are money-making products,<br />

more specifically internet marketing products because people visit this forum for<br />

one main reason: To learn how to make money. So that’s the audience you’d<br />

need to cater to in this forum.<br />

Don’t worry if it’s too early for you to start using WSOs. Begin with the signature<br />

strategy. That alone can make you more profits that you can imagine!<br />

500 Million Customers<br />

<strong>Online</strong> <strong>Cash</strong> Secret No.3: Facebook<br />

If you haven’t heard about Facebook yet, it means you live in a cave! 500 million<br />

active users and 1 billion conversations taking place on Facebook is a massive<br />

potential.<br />

Just imagine if you could use Facebook to sell your products (any kind of product,<br />

from clothes to origami to eBooks to anything you can possible think of). That’s<br />

what this chapter is all about.<br />

Brick and Mortar Shops<br />

“Brick and mortar” shops are a term given to the traditional physical shops, the<br />

ones you see on the street. You’ve got to pay their rents, electricity bills and<br />

employee payouts. You need to pay for the building maintenance too. And you<br />

also need a permit to run a brick and mortar shop. These are very heavy costs.<br />

All these costs can be eliminated if you choose to run a Facebook-based business.<br />

So that’s the first benefit of doing business on Facebook: Massive reduction of<br />

costs.<br />

The number of your potential customers on Facebook is 500 million! Compare<br />

that to your small little garments store located on the strip of a road that’s visible<br />

Example<br />

Here’s an example of how I used this technique. I just wanted to try this out<br />

myself to see how it goes. So I choose something that’s actually very difficult to<br />

sell online. I mean, its market is huge and there are buyers for this product<br />

everywhere but selling it online and to international market is a headache! I am<br />

talking about Sheesha!<br />

I had absolutely no idea about this market before because I personally don’t like<br />

this stuff. But once decided, I spent 2 weeks researching this market, locating<br />

local wholesale stores, their prices and types etc.<br />

Then I setup a Facebook page (not Facebook profile, you can’t run business on<br />

profiles) and put up some ads there (which I created using Photoshop).To my<br />

surprise, I found there were several groups related to this product on Facebook.<br />

So I joined all those groups and posted my Facebook page there.<br />

In a matter of days, I had people from different parts of the world enquiring about<br />

my services.<br />

The customer response was huge and I made some bucks out of it. But eventually<br />

this business had to be stopped because the tax on such products is very high and<br />

so my profit margin went down.<br />

Now, I don’t recommend you to sell any such product online! It’s too risky and<br />

time consuming market. Talk about handling and packing and posting the stuff!<br />

Talk about cargo and freight charges! It’s a competitive but a difficult market. Plus<br />

it gets heavy on ethics and morality part! I hope you know what I mean ;)<br />

So why did I share my story above? To tell you that if I can do it, you can do it too!<br />

And you can do it with any kind product. Just go for something that’s easy to<br />

handle and manage. Here’s a recap:<br />

1. Select a niche where demand is high<br />

2. Create a brand name<br />

3. Create a Facebook page with that brand name<br />

4. Fill the page with your business info: types of products, prices, your contact<br />

info etc<br />

5. Select a payment method (Best option is PayPal)<br />

6. Join several groups related to your niche.<br />

7. Market your business in these groups<br />

8. Be ready to answer customer queries<br />

9. See the money flowing in!<br />

10. Create ads and put them up on Facebook using iFrames and FBML. iFrames<br />

and FBML are huge topics on their own and out of the scope of this eBook.<br />

Lots of resources are available on Google on these topics.<br />

Note: Of course you can use all the above steps to complement your existing “brick and<br />

mortar” business. This could be a huge marketing engine for your offline business.<br />

“passive” source of income.<br />

Info-Products<br />

Info-Products sell like hot cakes on the internet. All money-making eBooks and<br />

courses are info-products. All self-help based reports etc are info-products. Info-<br />

Products can be created as easily as writing a word document, like the one you<br />

are reading right now!<br />

One of the easiest types of info-products is eBooks.<br />

Tips To Create eBooks<br />

You don’t need a PhD in English to write an eBook. You don’t need to be the<br />

master of your subject to write about it. You don’t even need good writing skills!<br />

All you need to do is identify a problem which a particular market (niche) has and<br />

then write a report describing a solution to that problem. Yes you can do all the<br />

research from Google!<br />

If you really hate writing, then record it in your voice as if you are talking to<br />

someone, and then just type it out.<br />

An eBook can be as short as 10 pages! What matters most is the information<br />

Another idea: If you know someone who’s an expert in the niche you are<br />

If you are finding it hard to come up with topics to write about, come up with<br />

ideas from your own personal lives. For example, I used to stutter very badly for<br />

many years, yet I was able to overcome most it. So probably I will be writing an<br />

eBook on how to cure stuttering.<br />

If you had great success at weight loss for example, you can write an eBook about<br />

your weight loss struggles and achievements.<br />

Recently, a good friend of mine betrayed me. There you go. I can write an eBook<br />

about importance of trust in relationships!<br />

So basically what I am saying is: You can turn your problems and experiences into<br />

info-products and profit from them!<br />

Suppose you’ve created your info-product, how do you go about selling it? One<br />

way is to sell it through Fiverr as discussed in chapter 1. Another way is to create a<br />

one page website and sell it there using a sales page. The art of writing such a<br />

persuasive sales page which makes people buy your info-product is known as<br />

Copywriting and that’s what the next chapter is about.<br />

How to Turn Your Laptop into a Money-Suction Machine<br />

I can bet with my own money that you found the above headline captivating and<br />

if not, you might as well bang your head against wall (hehe). Copywriting is simply<br />

using words that make the reader go “Gee… that sounds like the only solution to<br />

my problem! I’ve got to buy this product!” And it all begins with eye-popping<br />

attention-grabbing headlines.<br />

Use words that portray something very visual in your headlines. This works for all<br />

writing purposes, not just copywriting.<br />

Remember, at any given time, there are hundreds if not thousands of copywriters<br />

writing for your market. And since headlines are the first thing that drops off the<br />

retina of the readers, you’ve got to make sure that your…<br />

Headlines Must Stand Out From The Crowd<br />

Like a Single String of Hair On a Bald Head!<br />

How do you do that? Make it so visual that your readers won’t have any problem<br />

imagining it (How hard is it to imagine a single string of hair on a bald head!)<br />

Another idea is to write your headlines in an out-of-the-blue question format.<br />

Out-of-the-blue- questions will really make your readers imaginative and<br />

anticipative about what you’ve got to say beyond that headline. Example: Who<br />

Else Wants To Lose More Weight While Sleeping Faster Than You Ever Thought<br />

Possible?!<br />

Now that is surely out-of-the-blue because you normally don’t hear such<br />

questions, so using that as a headline will hit right on the creative cells of your<br />

brain.<br />

Or you can start headlines with a number: 9 Tips To Get Fair This Summer!<br />

“Heck! I hardly know 1 such tip and even that doesn’t work! And you say you have<br />

9 tips? Im gona have to click that headline right away!” – That’s the kind of<br />

response your readers might have when they read the headline above. That’s the<br />

kind of reaction you want to generate.<br />

So I’ve given you three tips to generate awesome headlines, which you can use<br />

right away in your next article or sales page or whatever. Think I learned these<br />

tips from school? You bet. The writing skills they teach at schools won’t make you<br />

a single penny.<br />

So now that we’ve covered some ground on headlines, let’s spend some time on<br />

what to write in the sales page itself. Well, let me first tell you what NOT to write:<br />

Don’t write your sales page or ads in a literary style – because you’re not<br />

going to get any grades on that.<br />

Don’t use highly creative words for which readers would have to consult<br />

their dictionary (assuming they have one) – because it’s not a creativity<br />

contest.<br />

Don’t write it as if it’s news – because news articles are full of boring<br />

statistics and figures that makes the reader nostalgic about their history<br />

lectures. You don’t want to put your readers in a nostalgic mindset if a<br />

minute later you are going to make them an offer to buy your product.<br />

The list can be longer but that’s good for starters. So what you should do in your<br />

sales articles is to use stories. Stories about the problem you are addressing.<br />

Stories about the struggle you faced. Stories about someone else who went<br />

through the same situation. And then blend it with your sales pitch!<br />

What does so-and-so think about your product? Write it down as a testimonial.<br />

It’s all about getting the reader hooked up with your words all the way from<br />

headline till the end when your finally present them the “Buy Now” button. And<br />
