We feature the fi nest quality sausage and luncheon meats ever produced. Karl 

Geier started in the trade at the age of fourteen, earning his Degree of Master Sausage 

Making at the age of twenty two. For generations sausage making has been 

and continues to be a part of our family tradition. 

Cooking Tips 

Cooked Sausage Links 

Frankfurter, Bauernwurst, Bratwurst, 

Debrizener, Hot Dogs, Andouille, Ring Bologna 

Note: These sausages are pre-cooked so they 

only need to be heated. 

Grill - Pre-heat grill. Place sausage directly on 

grill turning as needed. Being careful not to over 

cook causing the casing to split and lose fl avorful 

juices. 

Pan-Fry - Place sausage in frying pan or heavy 

skillet. Add a small amount of water or butter to 

the pan. Cook over medium heat until heated 

through, turning as needed. Can be covered to 

hold in moisture heat more quickly for approximately 5 - 10 minutes . 

Broil - Pre-heat oven on broil. Place sausage in pan with a small amount of water. 

Broil approximately 3-5 minutes on each side. 

Boil - Bring a pan of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add sausage. Cover 

the pan and let stand until the sausage is thoroughly heated. Approximately 10 - 15 

minutes. Remember do not boil as the casing will become tough. 

Microwave - Place sausage in microwave safe plate. Cover with paper towel. Cook 

on high for 1 - 4 minutes until sausage is hot. Let stand for a minute then serve. 

Fresh Sausage Links Grill - Place fresh sausages directly on grill over low to medium 

heat. Turn sausage frequently with tongs to ensure that they are evenly cooked. 

Sausages can be par-boiled in water, or beer and onions before being placed on the 

grill to speed up the grilling process. Then grill slowly, turning frequently until done, 

170 o degrees. 

Pan-Fry - Place sausage in frying pan or heavy skillet. Add small amount of butter 

or water with sausage. Cover and cook at medium heat until internal temperature of 

170 o turning sausage as needed. 

Bake - Pre - Heat oven to 350 o . Place sausages in casserole dish or any covered 

oven safe dish with a small amount of water or butter. Cook until internal temperature 

is 170 o . Approximately 30 minutes. Add sauerkraut, potatoes or cabbage for an 

unsurpassed fl avor. 

Remember all of these sausages are produced in a natural casing and you do not 

want to over cook them or puncture them with a fork or knife as the casing will split 

allowing the natural juices and fl avors to escape. Enjoy !
