PARALLEL MOUNTED HOISTS
When lateral hook travel, headroom and
end approach are not concerns, a parallel
mounted Work-Rated hoist provides a good
hoist value. The hoist travels in a
lengthwise position to the beam or track
and requires no counter balancing. Single
reeving is the most economic choice, but
when lateral hook travel presents a problem,
double reeving, with true vertical lift,
is also available on oarallel mounted
hoists.
CROSS MOUNTED HOISTS
For situations where headroom and end aoproach
dimensions are critical, cross
mounted Work-Bated hoists, that travel
perpendicular to the track or beam, offer
the closest minimum operating profile of
underhung hoists.
