Conrad Eigenmann, President 

As president, owner and cofounder of FIE, with over 36 years of 

experience, Conrad leads the project management and estimating teams 

while overseeing project management reporting and bid review as well as 

training and advanced education. He is a licensed electrical contractor 

and manages all areas of the company, including high voltage 

installations, termination, substation fabrications, power plant, airport, 

industrial and commercial electrical distribution. 

Mike Scharf, Vice President 

Mike brings over 154 years of experience in the electrical industry to FIE. A 

graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business 

administration, he manages multiple areas of the company including 

business management, project analysis and strategic positioning. Mike 

leads the office administrative staff and oversees the contracts, purchasing, 

equipment and safety teams.

With over 29 years of experience in aviation lighting FIE’s Airport Team 

is unparalleled in its service and maintenance capabilities providing our 

clients with widespread knowledge and a comprehensive range of 

services, including initial surveys, design-brief creation, airfield ground 

lighting equipment installation, and final testing and commissioning. 

Our continuous contracts with multiple regional airports are a strong 

indication of our value to our many airfield clients. 

FIE’s Airport Team offers a total management package. Our project 

managers work in partnership with our clients to achieve completion of

comes to airfield lighting requirements, offering our clients expert

Digital Thermography Team 

Florida Industrial Electric offers infrared services and inspections to 

utilities, commercial and industrial clients alike. We evaluate your 

overhead and underground infrastructure, or the equipment located 

inside your facility. 

Our technicians are also trained and equipped to inspect in manholes, pad 

mounted equipment, and electrical vault rooms. We are experienced in 

many aspects of high-voltage equipment inspection and predictive 

maintenance. We are also trained to do thermography in confined spaces, 

such as manholes, as well as other energized high-voltage environments. 

FIE’s Digital Thermograpy reporting will summarize and qualify any 

problems found, allowing you to take appropriate action quickly. This will keep your system operating at its 

best and enhance the safety of your employees. We use only cameras made by FLIR, the world leader in 

infrared technology. Our technicians are trained and certified by the ITC, also a division of FLIR. We offer a 

turn-key approach to your predictive maintenance program by also providing repairs of any problems found 

as a result of the inspections. When repairs are complete, we can re-inspect the equipment to verify the 

repairs are complete and correct at no additional charge.
