WHERE?<br />
BLM, La Posa North, Quartzsite, CA<br />
On your way in, be sure to stop at the BLM Host Station and pay your $40.00 fee, which allows you 2<br />
weeks of boondocking on BLM land.<br />
Start looking for ALFA ROADRUNNER signs as you proceed straight 7/10 mile, turn right and go<br />
another 1 & 3/4 miles. You will finally see the ALFA Campsite on the left.<br />
WHAT IS IT !?<br />
A fun filled week of boondocking in the desert. Wide open spaces, starlit nights and beautiful vistas.<br />
Hang out at the campfire ... rekindle or make new friendships ... share great food ... swap stories and<br />
experiences ... shop at the world’s largest (?) RV Show ... eat great food ... shop some more at the world’s<br />
largest (?) Swap Meet ... hike, bike and explore the area ... eat more great food<br />
Saturday the 19th we will have a welcoming Wagon Masters’ Dinner. Saturday the 26th the Sheriff’s<br />
Dinner is potluck. Coffee and donuts will be available each morning. Happy Hour every afternoon (one<br />
evening of Heavy Hors d’oeuvres). Depart Sunday the 27th at your leisure.<br />
WHAT TO BRING?<br />
* EMPTY black and gray waste tanks (Dump stations & Honey Wagons are nearby, if your tanks fill up<br />
and you want to stay longer)<br />
* FULL water and fuel tanks (diesel, propane). Water trucks are available, if you run out of water<br />
* A bundle of firewood<br />
* 2 gallons of bottled water for coffee<br />
* Own eating utensils, plates and cups (keeping cost down)<br />
* Eggs and goodies for “omelet” (Breakfast in a Bag)<br />
* Franks, roasting sticks & fixin’s for Weenie Roast)<br />
* Your choice syrup for Pancake Breakfast<br />
* Something delicious for the Sheriff’s Potluck dinner<br />
* Spirits, snacks and goodies to share at Happy Hours and campfire time<br />
